We are currently seeking: Accountant
The accountant will support the financial operations of the company by handling basic accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. The accountant will also serve as the backup for our Accounts Payable Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Complete account reconciliations and assist with month end close processes.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
- Process job setups and billings to customers.
- Process cash receipts and complete daily bank reconciliation.
- Work vendor account statements and submit account statements to customers.
- Upload credit card transactions into accounting software.
- Provide support and continuous education of our accounting processes to project managers.
- Prepare weekly accounting information for scorecard.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
