Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver physical activity courses at the collegiate level
• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that fosters active participation
• Encourage positive attitudes toward lifelong health and fitness
• Perform other duties as assigned by the institution
Required Qualifications:
• A graduate degree in physical education, kinesiology, exercise science or related areas is required
• Terminal degree is highly desired
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Availability for on-campus instruction for traditional course delivery
• Successful teaching experience at the college/university level and teaching experience within a multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of cardiovascular fitness, strength training, flexibility, and wellness to design course environments that promote holistic health
• National and institutional standards for physical education to align course objectives with accepted guidelines for student fitness and wellness outcomes
