II. Job Summary:

• As a Crew Member for Tussey Enterprises, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the creation and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces. You will perform a variety of tasks across landscaping, lawn care, hardscaping, outdoor lighting, and mowing, depending on your assigned crew. We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within our company. We are looking for long term employees.

III. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Landscaping Crew:

• Mulching, weeding, and general landscape maintenance.
• Operating landscaping equipment (e.g., tillers, sod cutters).
• Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape materials.

Lawn Care Crew:

• Fertilizing and applying pesticides (with proper certification/training).
• Tussey Enterprises will pay to have you trained.
• Aerating and seeding lawns.

Hardscape Crew:

• Installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
• Working with pavers, natural stone, and concrete.
• Operating power tools and equipment (e.g., saws, compactors).
• Following design plans.

Outdoor Lighting Crew:

• Installing low voltage lighting systems.
• Trenching and running wire.
• Adjusting and maintaining lighting systems.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues.

Mow Crew:

• Mowing large and small properties.
• Edging and trimming.
• Blowing off debris from hard surfaces.
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance of properties.

General Responsibilities (All Crews):

• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operating and maintaining equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicating effectively with crew members and supervisors.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Being on time, and ready to work each day.

IV. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individuals.

V. Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in landscaping, lawn care, hardscaping, or outdoor lighting.
• Knowledge of plant materials and landscape practices.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment.
• Certifications related to landscaping or pesticides. (Will Train)

VI. Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Potential exposure to noise, dust, and pollen.

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
