Banquet Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience during events and banquets. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decorations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure that all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed throughout the event.
• Assist with the breakdown of banquet setups, including cleaning tables and removing used dishes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry or food service is preferred, with a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus but not required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
