- Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Manage inventory, including food storage, handling, and disposal.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as dietary and housekeeping, to ensure seamless service.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce food waste and optimize resources.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation preferred.
- Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
