Dietary Cook Job Summary:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Dietary Cook and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu and safely and efficiently providing nutritionally appropriate food to residents. This role requires a fire and passion for working with seniors, a flexible, fun, and energetic personality, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred. One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation is also highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
Ensure the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
