Join our team as a tutor, and work with students in their homes around the Bentonville and Rogers areas. We're looking for tutors with experience teaching all high school math subjects.
**Your Responsibilities:**
- Provide personalized one-on-one mathematics tutoring sessions in the students' homes.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans to help students understand key math concepts, such as angles, theorems, shapes, proofs, and other math topics.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and improving problem-solving techniques across various math subjects.
- Track student progress and send regular feedback to parents through session reports (template provided).
**What We're Looking For:**
- A Bachelor's degree or current college student (with a GPA of 3.2 or above in math-related subjects).
- Experience tutoring or teaching geometry or other high school math subjects is required.
- Ideally, you live or work within a 30-minute commute of Bentonville and Rogers, AR.
- You’re organized, reliable, and show excellent communication skills.
- A background check, at the applicant’s expense, is required.
- A positive and patient attitude to help students build confidence in their math skills.
- In-person tutoring is most likely, but virtual tutoring is also an option.
