Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children, particularly in preschool and special education settings. A successful Tutor will be able to communicate effectively with students and parents, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum that align with educational standards.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to reinforce concepts taught in school.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a preschool or special education setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and the ability to create customized educational materials.
- Previous tutoring experience is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for educating and supporting students in their academic journey.
