Job Description
The mission of Tutor Doctor is to change the trajectory of students' lives. Tutors must possess a firm understanding of the subject matter and the ability to connect to their student and teach to their specific learning style. The tutor's primary focus will be to assist with homework and help the student learn new concepts. A written session report must be completed after every tutoring session.
Tutors will meet with their students either at their home or virtually using Bramble, a virtual learning platform. Tutors will be treated as Part time employees and need to take background check. W2 will be issued at the end of the year.
Tutors are strongly encouraged to participate in Tutor Doctor orientations that can be accessed online. This includes an orientation on how to use Bramble for online tutoring and how to use Tutor Doctor's internal system to be notified of possible student matches, how to submit session report and how to bill for hours tutoring.
