Are you an experienced Special Educator looking for a new student to support during the day? We have ongoing opportunities but we have an immediate need for an experienced middle to high school tutor to provide GED prep to a young teen in Mesa and another to help a homeschool family of 4 in Glendale.

Requirements:
- Reliable Transportation
- Teaching or Tutoring Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Special Education is required, certification is a plus
- Experience with behavioral disorders a plus (non-violent)
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Patience and creativity
- Ability to commit to at least 6 months or longer to develop a relationship and trust
Job Details:
- Location: In-person tutoring in a student's home
- Hours: Sessions will take place Monday-Friday 10:00 am -3:00 pm, 4-6 hours per week
- Students served: Depending on your skill set, we may have additional students from KG through college
Compensation:
- Hourly: $25-$30 per hour (varies with skill required)
- Bonuses: Opportunities for bonuses based on student satisfaction and other criteria.
- Employment type: This is a part-time position as an Independent Contractor (1099)
