Job Description

We are hiring multiple people for the following areas :

Elementary and Middle School Math
Elementary and Middle School Language Arts
Early Literacy

Responsibilities :

Provide individualized instruction to students in various subjects, focusing on their specific needs and learning goals

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards

Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure understanding and mastery of concepts

Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance instruction and engage students in the learning process

Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to address students' academic and social-emotional needs

Stay updated on current educational practices, research, and trends in order to continuously improve teaching strategies

Qualifications :

Strong expertise in the subject(s) you wish to teach

Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students, parents, and colleagues

Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment

Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse students

Knowledge of educational technology tools and resources to enhance instruction

Conveniently located to serve students in your local area

Requirements

At least one year of tutoring experience

Bachelor's Degree or working towards

Experience working with children

Comfortable using learning technology

Teaching experience is a huge plus!
