What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Math Tutor position at Tutors Impacting Public Schools?

In this position you will:
- Support students in grades 6-8 in Math through small group instruction at Broadview-Thomson K-8 School (13052 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133)
- Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
- Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
- Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
- Get paid $23/hour
- Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
- Start Date: January 13th, 2025
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30am to 2:30pm
- 20 hours a week
- Schedule is fixed to meet school's needs
- Follows Seattle Public Schools schedule for breaks and holidays
