What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Tutor position at Tutors Who Care?
We are currently looking for a highly qualified tutor in the Windermere or Winter Garden area who has at least a decade of experience with working with students who have dyslexia and dyscalculia. The position will begin next school year as this will be the first year that the student will attend a regular school as he has been doing school online through Lindamood Bell for the past few years. He will attend Olympia High School, which will be a major adjustment for him. Due to this, he will need a tutor to help him afterschool with math, study skills, executive functioning skills, and various other topics. The family would like to do a meet and greet with the tutor in July and begin shortly after. The position would be in-person at the student's home and would be at least 2-5 hours a week. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education but it's not necessary as long as they have a decade of experience working with students who have dyslexia.
