General Office Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Execute industrial cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain floor care through buffing and polishing to enhance appearance and longevity.
• Assist with residential painting projects when required, ensuring quality finishes.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored securely after use.
• Follow established schedules for routine cleaning tasks while being flexible to accommodate special requests or emergencies.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing is advantageous.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is beneficial for this position.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 10 per week
