What You’ll Do
- Oversee and mentor a team of 12–15 accounting staff, including AP, AR, billing, and purchasing
- Own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Partner with the CIO and technical team on the implementation of MS Dynamics 365
- Evaluate and improve internal controls; establish and formalize SOPs
- Support cross-functional collaboration and foster a culture of transparency growth, and accountability
- Analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and lead operational improvements
- Liaise with external CPA partners on technical matters, compliance, and special projects
- Serve as a stabilizing presence while potentially growing into a more strategic finance leadership role
What You Bring
- CPA
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or similar field.
- Proven hands-on leadership experience managing daily accounting operations and month-end close
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams
- Technical fluency in financial systems and reporting; experience with MS Dynamics 365 is a major plus
- Familiarity with MS Power BI or similar business intelligence tools; able to extract, interpret, and present financial insights in a clear, actionable format
- Comfortable navigating environments with minimal SOPs and capable of building or improving process documentation
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build rapport with team members and executives
- A proactive mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo to improve outcomes
