As a Field Service Technician, you won’t be stuck behind a desk, you’ll be hands-on in the field, tackling mechanical and electrical challenges head-on. Your work will involve installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial water treatment systems, ensuring critical infrastructure remains operational. Beyond technical skills, this job requires a strong service-first mindset, you’ll be working closely with customers, explaining and resolving issues, and ensuring they have the best possible experience.

What You’ll Do as a Field Service Technician
- Receive work orders and head out to install new water treatment equipment, provide preventative maintenance, and respond to emergencies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in the field.
- Perform all required data entry efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless customer service.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
What You Bring
- A naturally inquisitive, DIY mentality. You love taking things apart, fixing them, and figuring out how they work.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude for troubleshooting general plumbing and/or electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing PVC from ¾” to 4”.
- A strong customer service mindset, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues in an accessible way, and ensure their needs are met.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for overnight work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, operate power tools, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
- High purity water treatment experience preferred but not required.
Our client provides an excellent compensation package including a wage of $34-$42/hour DOE and bonuses/401k/profit-sharing/health benefits plus employee/family appreciation days.
