Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation review to ensure compliance with clinic policies.
- Perform insurance verification to confirm coverage and benefits for dental procedures.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office with Dentrix or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Proficient in office management tasks including documentation review and clerical duties.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software relevant to the role.
