What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Food Prep position at TuTuTun Lodge?
Overview:
Kitchen Assistants are asked to have flexible schedules in May and October when department needs may be lower, but hours are generally regular June through September during peak summer months. Individuals filling this type of position must be able to work safely and efficiently. They should be able to effectively follow verbal and written instruction of department management. The position requires one to be able to regularly lift, carry and place items weighing 25-50 lbs. General responsibilities include providing the kitchen and dining room staff with clean dishes, silverware, glasses and equipment through washing, drying, storing and
organizing supplies as well as sweeping and mopping the kitchen area and emptying garbage at the end of the shift. Assistants are asked to occasionally assist serving staff and prep food. A current Oregon-issued Food Handler Card required for employment.
