Job Summary
The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to coordinate all aspects of event production, including setup, technical execution, and talent management. This role requires strong organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Experience as a talent buyer is a plus, as we regularly book live entertainment and curated experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of live events, concerts, and private functions.
- Coordinate with talent, vendors, and crew to ensure seamless event production.
- Oversee setup and breakdown of staging, sound, lighting, and other technical elements.
- Maintain production schedules, run sheets, and event logistics.
- Communicate with artists, agents, and event clients to fulfill production requirements.
- Ensure all events meet venue safety and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot technical and logistical issues as they arise.
- Support budgeting and cost management for production elements.
- Work collaboratively with bar staff, talent buyers, security, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in sourcing and booking talent when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of experience in event production, live entertainment, or venue operations.
- General knowledge of audio, lighting, and stage production equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with talent booking is a plus.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical ability to lift equipment and assist with event setup.
