The Talent Buyer will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing talent for concerts, themed nights, and special events. Key Responsibilities
- Research, source, and book talent for concerts, themed events, and private functions.
- Develop relationships with artists, agents, and managers to secure top-tier entertainment.
- Negotiate contracts, fees, and rider requirements within budget constraints.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure technical and logistical needs are met.
- Strategize event promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Monitor ticket sales and adjust talent bookings to maximize profitability.
- Stay informed on industry trends and local/national music scenes to book in-demand acts.
- Coordinate with venue management to schedule events that align with operational capabilities.
- Manage event settlements and ensure timely payments for artists and agencies.
- Attend live shows and networking events to scout new talent and build industry connections.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience in talent buying, concert promotion, or event booking.
- Strong industry relationships with artists, agents, and promoters.
- Knowledge of live music production, event logistics, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and audience demand to book profitable acts.
- Experience working with budgets and financial planning for talent bookings.
- Passion for live music, entertainment, and cultivating unique experiences.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
