CDL Driver

MMI is an industrial contractor and steel fabricating company based in Mesa, Arizona. MMI has been in business since 1974 and continues to grow each year. We are very proud of the more than 150 loyal members of our team and are looking for individuals to contribute at a very high level.

MMI is looking to hire an experienced driver who has a current CDL license and has at least 5 years of experience in transportation of material and equipment. Drivers need to remain aware of all pertinent DOT regulations to help MMI remain complaint in its transportation of material and equipment. Must be able to operate any and all field equipment that gets loaded and delivered. Drivers must understand how to properly load and tie down what they transport to provide safe deliveries of all they transport. Detailed logs must be kept.

Pay range: $25-$30

Responsibilities

• Should be aware of the condition of their trucks and trailers
• Make safe and timely deliveries of material and equipment
• Clearly write and log their trips and hours
• Follow company and jobsite safety guidelines, procedures and policies
• Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays if needed
• Strong teamwork
  
  

Drivers Must Be Physically Able To

• Lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Stoop, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat, stand and walk for long periods of time
• Work in extreme elements of heat and cold depending on the season
