Use your experience in Operations Management to provide direction, leadership and management for Olathe Distribution center including creation and execution of operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Oversee execution of outbound operations to meet business goals and targets
Manage key outbound departments including Picking, Checking, Put-Away, and Overstock
Ensure productivity, quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
Collaborate with Inbound and other departments to resolve complex distribution issues
Select, mentor, train, and develop staff while maintaining appropriate staffing and managing overtime
Implement and maintain systems, tools, and equipment to support operational success
Partner with HR on hiring, talent development, and compensation activities
Monitor, report, and analyze KPIs to track and improve operational performance
Foster communication and collaboration across all operations teams
Promote and embody TVH’s Mission, Vision, and Values to strengthen company culture
HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or 10 years of relevant experience
6 years of experience in distribution, with strong operational knowledge
4 years of experience in supervising, coaching, and developing staff
Skilled in using systems, tools, and equipment for efficient product distribution
Proficient in developing, identifying, and reporting operations metrics
Experience with cross-functional collaboration across teams and locations
Strong skills in handling complex employee relations and coaching through challenges
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems
Effective communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
Highly organized, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
