Summary
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, cycle counting, and shipping parts / products for the facility. They will document and manage all inventory control processes including continuous improvement of inventory processes, ensuring accurate customer inventory control. The Inventory Control Manager will work closely with the Site Operations Manager and Department Managers on inventory processes and improvements. The Inventory Control Manager tracks, reports, and implements improvement plans for various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role reports to the Site Operations Manager and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Material Analysts.
Essential Functions

- Responsible for managing and auditing all WMS system transactions and maintaining accurate data.
- Document and investigate materials issues communicated by the customer.
- Communicate issues to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain various computerized reports, charts, and graphs.
- Develops, executes, and manages a cycle count program and conducts audits on physical inventory, completes reconciliation investigations, identifies root causes, and takes corrective actions on variances.
- Analyze reports, measurements, and external benchmarks to identify opportunities for continual improvement.
- Oversee and direct communication with the customer to address complaints and concerns, resolve problems, and escalate issues as required.
- Partners with internal and external customers, communicates, and provides daily inventory reports.
- Ensure timely receipt of materials to support the production schedule.
- Ensure the accuracy of the system's data, including location, quantity on hand, value, etc.
- Monthly reporting of metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Address and control the cost of poor quality attributed to the shift. Key indexes include scrap, Cycle Count Net Variance, premium freight, and detention reporting.
- Track and control the distribution of overtime for the department.
- Perform routine daily equipment inspections and document those inspections as required on all equipment and escalate issues.
- Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift) as needed.
- Ensure product is labeled and free of damages, overages, and shortages.
- Directs and supervises hourly employees.
- Routinely demonstrates and creates a safe and positive work culture. Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers, customers, and outside vendors.
- Supports Department Managers with compliance and enforcement of all standard safety practices.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment in compliance with 6s workplace organizational standards.
- Track meaningful departmental reports and metrics.
- Assist Management in improving supply chain compliance and performance.
- Mentor, train, and develop a team of hourly employees.

The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes and safety vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
