What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cellar Technician 2 position at TWE Global Careers?
Cellar Tech II
Cellar Operations:
Supervise the unloading of wine from tanker trucks and manage deliveries to the bottling line.
Perform more complex wine transfers, adjustments, and blending processes while maintaining TWE’s quality standards.
Ensure that filtration equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and stored.
Collaborate with the Production Scheduler, Production Team Leaders, and Assistant Packaging Winemaker for the timing and completion of bottling work orders.
Leadership & Team Support:
Delegate work orders to Cellar Tech I’s and monitor progress.
Ensure proper training and guidance for less experienced staff on cellar processes and equipment use.
Document cellar operations, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to SOPs.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for operational improvements, including quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Assist in the implementation of improvements and ensure adherence to new procedures.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure cellar operations are performed safely and efficiently in accordance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) guidelines.
Assist in audits to ensure BRC and HACCP compliance.
