Position Overview
The Relationship Manager (RM) is a vital member of our client advisory team, responsible for delivering an outstanding client experience, fostering long-lasting relationships, and ensuring the highest level of service. Acting as a trusted partner, the RM supports Wealth Advisors in managing client relationships while playing a pivotal role in the growth, retention, and satisfaction of our clientele.
This is a critical role that requires self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to promoting the values and culture of Twelve Points Wealth.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement and Experience
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored and proactive support.
- Act as an ambassador for the firm, ensuring clients receive exemplary service on inbound and outbound communications.
- Build and deepen relationships with clients, creating referable experiences that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational and Administrative Excellence
- Manage client onboarding, including the collection of required documentation and account setup processes.
- Oversee and update the client database in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
- Research, resolve, and communicate solutions for client inquiries and service matters.
- Coordinate with custodians and external providers to manage client accounts effectively.
- Prepare materials and agendas for client meetings, team reviews, and presentations.
- Team Collaboration
- Partner with Wealth Advisors to prioritize tasks, projects, and deliverables.
- Manage workflows, track progress, and ensure timely completion of client-related tasks.
- Strategic Contributions
- Recommend solutions and enhancements to processes and practices, contributing to the firm’s operational efficiency.
- Play a critical role in initiatives aimed at expanding the client base and deepening relationships with existing clients.
Qualifications
- Preferred 2-3 years of professional experience in financial services, with a focus on client relationship management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Experience working with custodial platforms. Specifically, Fidelity and Schwab.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at critical problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A positive, empathetic, and client-focused approach, with a "no task is too small" mindset.
