About the Role
As Head of Talent , you’ll take full ownership of our recruiting function, splitting your time between leadership (50%) and hands-on recruitment (50%). You’ll play a critical role in building scalable processes, overseeing tools and systems, and driving strategic initiatives such as employer branding, talent strategy, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will partner directly with the founding and executive team to align talent strategies with Twelve Labs’ ambitious goals while ensuring the recruiting team is empowered to deliver on its objectives.

Leadership and Strategy :
- Build and execute a recruiting strategy that aligns with Twelve Labs’ growth goals, particularly in technical and AI-related roles.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent team, focusing on scalability, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
- Own the strategic direction for all recruiting tools and systems, including selecting, implementing, and optimizing platforms like ATS and CRM systems.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to understand hiring needs, prioritize roles, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive broad initiatives, including employer branding, talent analytics, and DEI strategies, to position Twelve Labs as a destination for world-class talent.
- Define and track recruiting KPIs, using data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure accountability.
