What are the responsibilities and job description for the Artificial Intelligence Engineer position at twentyAI?
I’m working with a well-funded startup that’s growing quickly in the developer infrastructure and AI space. They’re building tools that make it easier for teams to deliver world-class API experiences—and they’ve already been trusted by over 150 companies, including some of the biggest names in tech.
They’re now looking to bring on an AI Engineer to help launch powerful new products at the intersection of developer tools and LLMs.
What You’ll Do:
- Launch and scale AI chat in docs. You’ll help refine and fully launch an AI-powered search/chat feature that’s already live in prototype form and gaining traction fast.
- Contribute to open standards. You’ll work on the evolving interface between LLMs and developer infrastructure, helping shape early-stage standards for token efficiency and agentic interactions.
- Work directly with high-growth customers. Go zero-to-one by building new tools embedded in customers’ workflows—your work will directly impact the way top AI-first companies build.
- Monitor performance. Design analytics systems to evaluate AI features, track adoption, and support usage-based billing.
- Help build the team. You’ll work closely with leadership to bring on and onboard new engineers as the team scales.
What They're Looking For:
- 3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience building, deploying, and monitoring AI/LLM-powered products
