Our client is searching for a visionary leader to establish and expand their quality assurance strategy. You will spearhead a QA organization committed to excellence, resilience, and innovation. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the systems behind their next-generation financial services platform, guiding a team of functional and automation QA engineers. Working closely with product and engineering teams, you will drive the delivery of high-quality, high-performing software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy that supports rapid scaling and high delivery velocity.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability, scalability, compliance, and seamless user experiences in a regulated environment.
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of 8 QA and automation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Seamlessly integrate QA processes into agile development workflows, enabling rapid iteration without compromising quality.
- Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure flawless software releases at scale.
- Utilize deep technical expertise to develop advanced automation frameworks and testing pipelines.
- Drive innovation in testing methodologies to uphold system performance at scale.
- Oversee functional, performance, and security testing to guarantee system integrity and user trust under all conditions.
- Define, track, and analyze key QA metrics, promoting continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
- Serve as a strategic partner in maintaining the highest quality standards across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of leading high-performing QA teams in fast-paced, innovative tech environments.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks, including Java, Python, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, test-driven development, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable QA strategies.
- Experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and security best practices.
- Passion for delivering intuitive, high-quality products that exceed user expectations.
- Experience in financial services, particularly capital markets, equities trading, and FIX messaging is preferred.
Salary : $200,000 - $240,000
