Our client, the world’s leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for an Awards Series Coordinator. The individual will be primarily responsible for assisting and helping to organize the Series Awards Team from Guild through Emmy season with day to day activities.
This is an onsite, 12-month contract in Los Angeles, CA. You need to be located in the US and have no H1B Visa status. The hourly rate is $45.00 per hour plus benefits through Talent Table. There is no C2C.
The Role:
This candidate will play a key role in supporting the Awards Series Team, which is focused on the Scripted, Unscripted, Stand-Up, Variety, and Sports series. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, exceptionally organized & detail-oriented, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, and can juggle a multitude of responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and precision. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who has a positive attitude and a love for series and is able to exercise good judgment, take initiative, and demonstrate strong communication skills. This position requires someone who is a self-starter and can maintain a high level of organization while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day maintenance of award documents and grids, decks, one sheet, and airtables.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, including securing conference rooms, putting together presentations, and coordinating audiovisual needs.
- Tracking and researching competitive awards titles and maintaining an understanding of the awards landscape throughout the year.
- Staffing events, including guild, FYC, and premiere events.
- Supporting title leads on awards strategy and brainstorming/idea creation.
- When applicable, handle logistics such as booking travel and updating itineraries.
- Maintenance of awards on the FYC website (as needed).
Qualifications:
- 2 year(s) of publicity-related professional experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization.
- Passion about the evolving entertainment landscape with a strong working knowledge of the awards space for series.
- A clear and concise communication style and can effectively convey complex ideas written and verbally.
- Meticulous organizational skills, good judgment in the face of ambiguity, and a superpower for multitasking.
- A proactive and positive approach, and will embody our company values every day.
- Demonstrated ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Salary : $45
