Description:
We have immediate openings for full-time and PRN shifts for Behavioral Health Technicians dedicated to making a meaningful difference for our clients.
Available Shifts
Full-time shifts available:
Overnight shift - 8pm to 8am (12hr rotating schedule)
PRN (as needed for call outs)
- PRN - Dayshift (8am to 8pm)
- PRN - Overnight shift (8pm to 8am)
Job Responsibilities
A few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
- Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
- Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
- Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
- Daily chart documentation
- Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures, including the employee handbook.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals who have mental health and/or substance abuse disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
