What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP - Residential position at TWI?
Summary: Responsible for providing quality care to program participants by implementing the plan of care for the individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Operation of computer, phone and office equipment for business/service, light lifting associated with day to day operations, good communication skills and ability to provide transportation.
· Provides quality care to program participants in an environment that promotes their rights, freedom of choice and individuality.
· Must become knowledgeable about the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and provide care according to the participants plan.
· Responsible for maintaining the comfort and privacy of the participants in the delivery of care, which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and assistance with communicating their needs.
· Performing household responsibilities of the program, which may include assistance with grocery lists in conjunction with dietary needs, grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, and cleaning of the home.
· Completes necessary documentation according to the standards required by TWi.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.75 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
