Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their Team near Holland, MI. In this position, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the bookkeeping of their company (50 company-wide) while supporting HR functions such as payroll and benefits administration. Accountant (full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Oversee all accounting functions
• Complete weekly payroll and remit payroll taxes
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
• Coordinate with CPA firm on tax filings
• Review A/R and A/P activities and support deposits and collections
• Ensure accurate tracking of work-in-process accounts
• Record and maintain financial transactions
• Support HR including new hire paperwork and benefits administration
• Collaborate internally and ensure seamless communication
Accountant (full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Qualifications
• 4 years of full-cycle accounting experience required
• Strong background in leading month-end closing required
• Experience preparing financial statements required
• Able to work onsite daily required
