Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full Cycle AR Exp. Req.) Description
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the medical and scientific equipment industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Billerica, MA. You will be responsible for creating invoices aligned with customer contracts, applying payments, and following up on collections as needed. The ideal candidate is well organized and has experience with full cycle accounts receivable. Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full Cycle AR Exp. Req.) Responsibilities
• Post daily cash receipts, prepare bank deposits, and process account adjustments
• Apply and process payments via ACH, check, and credit card
• Create invoices, including down payments, based on customer agreements
• Handle refunds or account rebills as needed
• Issue invoices and distribute them via mail or electronically
• Enter customer orders in the ERP system (approximately 20 per month)
• Review contracts to ensure correct billing and payment terms
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing inquiries and collection issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve outstanding items
• Supporting monthly close and helping maintain tax exemption documentation
• Communicate commission details to sales representatives
• Contribute to the development and improvement of credit and collection policies
Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full Cycle AR Exp. Req.) Qualifications
• 5 years of accounts receivable experience
• Full cycle accounts receivable experience is required
• Ability to work 100% on-site is required
