1st Year OTE: $80,000-$95,000; 2nd Year OTE: $110,000
Base Salary: $70,000-$80,000 Commission

Business Development Representative (inside or outside industrial sales exp. req.) Description
Our client, a building materials distributor, is searching for a Business Development Rep to join their Team in Chicago, IL. You will work with new and existing clients to understand project needs and quote their interior building materials (drywall, metal framing, etc.). You will spend about two days each week outside of their office meeting clients in person. Although your primary focus will be on new business development, their General Manager will be turning over a few active accounts to you so he can focus more on running the daily operations. This will allow you to hit the ground running while also providing you the platform to secure new leads. To be chosen for this role, you must have either inside or outside industrial sales experience. Their GM mentored their most recent BDR who has become very successful in his role. He was hired three years ago and is currently making above six-figures. Business Development Representative (inside or outside industrial sales exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Review project needs and quote materials
• Support customers in finding solutions
• Build rapport with clients and nurture existing accounts
• Respond to inquiries and ensure accurate information
• Request feedback from customers regarding products
• Organize delivery requests to ensure prompt service
• Address and resolve any customer service issues
• Travel to job sites and ensure timely follow up with customers
Business Development Representative (inside or outside industrial sales exp. req.) Qualifications
• 2 years of inside or outside B2B industrial sales experience required
• Weekly travel required (typically 2-3 days) throughout the Chicagoland area
• Onsite work required when not traveling
• Driver’s license required
