Chocolatier (Culinary background req, chocolate-training provided) Responsibilities
• Produce products according to standing recipes
• Develop new recipes for R&D and commercialization
• Operate bean-to-bar equipment (training provided)
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery
• Maintain accurate daily production logs
• Assist in tracking ingredient, packaging, and labor costs to support pricing decisions
• Manage the ingredient and supply inventory for the bean-to-bar kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Identify opportunities for new products
• Advise on discontinuing non-relevant items
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards
Chocolatier (Culinary background req, chocolate-training provided) Qualifications
• 2 years of pastry arts, chocolate production, confectionery, or culinary arts required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation in a food production facility required
• Comfort with learning new technology & machinery required
