Director of Manufacturing (manufacturing / engineering exp req.) Description
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is looking for their next company leader to join their Team in the Greater Houston area. Your focus will be split between leading their corporate engineering team and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure projects and production are within time, budget, and quality standards across their 6 production facilities. Ultimately, they are looking for an engaged leader who values growing the next generation of manufacturing engineers while identifying ways to leverage innovation. Someone who is accustomed to maximizing workflow efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve production speed and quality. To be chosen for this role, you must have a strong background in high-volume plastics manufacturing including injection or blow molding. Although this is a high-speed manufacturing environment, this is a relatively lower pressure environment. They are not only leading the way in terms of industry standards, but their employee engagement also defies what you typically see in today’s workforce. Their average tenure is 12 years so you’re walking into a well-rounded, seasoned environment. No pain points or fires to fix on day one. This is not an opportunity that comes often. You have the opportunity to be a corporate partner to a $275M company that still runs with old-school values on how to treat their team. You will undoubtedly create a legacy you can be proud of.
