In this position, you will lead and expand distribution within industrial sales channels, overseeing and motivating third-party sales agencies to achieve revenue and profitability goals. While there are no direct reports, you will play a key leadership role in guiding external partners to success. • Expand distribution within industrial sales channels in the Northeast & Midwest
• Manage, train, and motivate third-party Distributor/Retailer/Manufacturer Sales Reps
• Provide insights into potential new markets and product development opportunities
• Hunt for new business leads and schedule sales meetings
• Deliver compelling client presentations that showcase the product efficacy
• Build and execute customer strategies to meet growth targets
• Expand distribution and achieve category objectives
• Develop an annual sales plan including forecasted profit by customer
• Take risks as a part of a comprehensive long-range growth plan
• React to market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly
• Identify potential roadblocks and develop proactive solutions
Director of Industrial Sales (B2B Industrial Channel Exp Spanish Req) Qualifications
• 5 years of sales & business development experience is required
• B2B sales experience in the industrial channel required
• Ability to hunt for new business leads (70%) is required
• English/Spanish bilingual skillset is required
• Ability to travel 40% of the time (mix driving/flying) is required (50%-60% for the first 6 months)
• Close proximity to a major airport is required
