Sr. Chemistry Product Development Engineer (chemistry/chemical engineering/R&D) Description
Our client, a well-established chemical manufacturer, is looking for a passionate and proactive Senior Chemistry Product Development Engineer to add to their team (<150 company-wide) in the Nashville area. In this role, you’ll split your time between traditional R&D efforts in the laboratory supporting new formulations and chemical processes with the balance of your time reviewing overall production capabilities through process engineering. Additionally, you will oversee one R&D Chemist. This position will ebb and flow so candidates who enjoy diversification in their job scope would really appreciate this environment. Whether you have manufacturing experience or have been mostly working in a laboratory, they are searching for candidates who would be excited to work with unique chemicals that create their very niche products used in aerospace and military applications. Someone who can leverage the depth and breadth of their chemistry knowledge to act as the subject matter expert across their multi-site (all local) production facilities. You will likely be supporting the creation of products you have never done before. So, for candidates looking to expand their chemistry portfolio, this would be a meaningful opportunity to participate in the design of new products that will be used across the world.
