Learning and Development Lead/ HR Generalist (relo to VT) Description
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Learning and Development Lead/ HR Generalist professional to join their team in Southern VT, near the Green Mountain National Forest, just 40 minutes from Killington and Okemo Mountain. In this role, you will oversee daily HR operations, focusing on performance coaching and Learning & Development. You’ll lead efforts to identify organizational development needs, create growth programs, and support recruitment and employee relations. The ideal candidate has experience developing training programs and driving engagement initiatives and 3 years of HR experience. Success in this role requires energy, patience, and a hands-on approach. Learning and Development Lead/ HR Generalist (relo to VT) Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver employee training programs
- Lead engagement initiatives and team development
- Support policy and program creation
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and leadership development
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Mentor team leaders and conduct training sessions
- Administer monthly benefits billing and reconciliation
- Drive process improvements and continuous learning
- Manage routine HR tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Learning and Development Lead/ HR Generalist (relo to VT) Qualifications
- 3 years of HR experience required
- Experience leading learning and development programs required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Leadership experience required
- Ability to work onsite required
