Territory Account Manager Description
Our client, a distributor and systems integrator of food processing equipment, is looking for a Territory Account Manager to join their team. This is a field sales and support role, in an existing territory, focused on building relationships with existing customers (80%) while also developing new business (20%). You will educate clients on products, provide quotes, take purchase orders, and in time, troubleshoot customer issues. The role requires someone who isn’t afraid to be out in front of new and existing customers, who has strong self-motivation and the ability to manage a territory independently. Territory Account Manager Responsibilities
• Manage an existing customer base while prospecting for new business
• Provide technical sales support and solutions for food processing applications
• Travel regularly to customer sites, with some overnight stays required
• Deliver quotes, take orders, and maintain accurate sales records
• Assist with urgent customer requests and part needs
• Develop expertise in equipment and industry trends
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Territory Account Manager Qualifications
• 2 years of field sales/account management experience required
• 2 years of industrial equipment experience required
• Mechanical aptitude with basic tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Schedule flexibility and ability to travel extensively in SW Washington & N. Oregon required
