Established in 2020 we specialize in creating unique garden style flower arrangements and bouquets all curated exclusively for each customer. As a retail location we can be fast paced as we never premake any of our products and build everything at the moment the customer orders with us. Our customers can order in person, online or over the phone. Esthetics and an eye for detail are essential in our work. Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Flower Shop Manager to lead our team and manage daily operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about flowers, customer service, and managing a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with product selection, answering inquiries, and handling complaints professionally.
- Sales & Inventory Management: Track inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels. Ensure that the shop is always well-stocked with fresh flowers and materials.
- Floral Design & Arrangements: Assist with creating custom floral arrangements for everyday orders and events, maintaining a high standard of quality, detail and creativity.
- Training & Development: Train new staff on floral design techniques, customer service skills, and shop procedures.
- Social Media: Assist owner with social media, taking pictures throughout the day that can be used online.
- Mantinance: Ensure that the shop is clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
- Order Fulfillment & Delivery Coordination: Coordinate and supervise flower deliveries to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail or floral management role.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Creativity and passion for floral design. Maintaining the Twiggies way of creating is key.
- Ability to manage inventory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Basic knowledge of floral care and handling.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with flowers or in a floral shop.
- Knowledge of floral design techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic accou.
