Twilight Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation in Norwalk, Ohio is seeking a FULL TIME Dietary Cook to join our team! Hours are 11 : 30a-7 : 30p 4 or 5 day a week!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF Dietary Cook :
- Review menus prior to food preparation
- Inspect trays to assure the correct meal is served to the resident
- Coordinate food service with other departments, as necessary
- Ensure all food procedures are followed in accordance with policies
- Assume responsibility and accountability of cook
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus
- Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing
- Serve in accordance with established portion control
- Prepare and serve bestime snacks
- Ensure proper utensils are provided with meal tray
- Prepare and serve substitute food to residents who refuse foods served
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens and dining rooms
- Assisting in maintaining clean and properly arranged food storage areas
- Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies
- Wear protective clothing when necessary
