Job Description: You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable dining and drinking experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and personalized service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the bar lounge and seat them at their tables or at the bar.
- Present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items, specials, and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and input them into the POS system.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar lounge, including clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring that the bar area is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Understanding and knowledge for alcohol service compliance.
