What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juice Bar Staff (Wedge) position at Twin Cities Co-op Partners?
PURPOSE: To prepare juices, smoothies, shakes, cones, teas, and coffee/espresso drinks.
To order, receive, rotate, prepare, stock and maintain back-stock for all drinks with the intent of providing the best customer service. Be a fully trained express lane cashier. To maintain a level of organization and cleanliness that exceeds health department standards.
REPORTS TO: Prepared Foods Managers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Primary areas of responsibility include all equipment, prep space, and cases associated with the preparation of juices, smoothies, shakes cones, teas and coffee/espresso drinks.
- Prepare drink recipes on demand in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
- Keep prep areas, cases, back-stock and packaging areas clean and ready for the next shift.
- Inventory and order products, maintaining a minimum back-stock to ensure optimum efficiency.
- Set-up the next shift appropriately.
- Ensure that special orders are handled in a prompt and professional manner.
- Participate in juice bar inventory as needed.
- Monitor equipment and inform supervisors when repairs are needed.
- Assist other areas of the Prepared Foods Department as needed. Including dessert, cookie and sit-down areas.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer following established protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Detail-oriented
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Familiarity with food safety procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work with TCCP to create an inclusive environment where all are welcomed.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently.
- Prolonged standing and walking on the sales floor.
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and crouching.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to perform continuous fine work with hands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
