Job duties will vary by position, but include items such as:
- Ensuring exam rooms are clean and ready for patients
- Documenting patient complaint and medical history
- Various types of medical and specialized testing procedures
- Working closely with physicians to ensure they're kept aware of schedule changes, and assist with patient as requested (like administering topical ophthalmic and oral medications)
These roles are a great opportunity to use your customer service and interpersonal skills while also learning more about the technical side of ophthalmology.
Successful candidates will have:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for learning and providing excellent patient care!
Salary will vary based on prior experience and level of certification (Starts at $20/hour and increases based on experience/certification)
