What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stewardship Specialist position at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity?
The Stewardship Specialist supports overall stewardship efforts for Resource Development, focusing on individual donors. Additionally, this role leads cultivation and stewardship events and coordinates in-house stewardship communications that meaningfully connect supporters to the mission of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. This part-time position in our Major Gift team supports timely donor recognition and purposeful engagement events.

Required Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- Minimum two year’s previous relevant experience in nonprofit organizations(s), in either resource development, event planning or marketing/communications OR three of similar experience in a for-profit setting with an emphasis on event planning and communication coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others.
- Event Planning: Develops, plans and coordinates engaging events for the organization.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures information is complete and accurate and follows up to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
- Client Focus: Builds strong client relationships, concentrating on how every interaction helps the client.
- Teamwork: Works with and helps others to accomplish objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- Some college education, Associates degree or higher
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Proficiency and experience in Raisers Edge or similar database(s).
