Job Title: Licensed Athletic Trainer
At Twin Cities Orthopedics, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Athletic Trainer to join our team in the Staples location. As a member of our Outreach Program, you will provide athletic training services to student athletes at Pillager High School and Lakewood Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in athletic training, with experience working in a clinic setting and with high school athletes. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, preventing, and rehabilitating acute, chronic, and emergency injuries and illnesses. Additionally, you will refer student-athletes to physicians and specialists as needed, document injury management, and communicate effectively with doctors, coaches, parents, and athletes.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Licensed Athletic Trainer in a clinic setting and at High School
- Responsible for the assessment, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of acute, chronic, and emergency injuries and illnesses
- Refer student-athletes to physician and/or specialists as needed
- Documentation of injury management
- Effective communication with doctors, coaches, parents, and athletes
- Provide and assist in community education
- Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- NATABOC certification
- Licensed in the State of Minnesota as Athletic Trainer or eligible for licensure
- Current CPR certification required
- 1-2 years of experience as a high school Athletic Trainer preferred

Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent bending, lifting, stooping, or sitting for long periods of time. You must be able to travel independently throughout the workplace and work during business hours, including evenings and weekends.
