Position Title : 1st Shift CNC Supervisor
Shifts Available : M-Th 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Wage Range : $31.64-$37.52 DOQ
Position Summary
Under General Manager's or Plant / Production Manager's guidance, Department Supervisors (Level II) manage multiple shifts or a department. Responsible for scheduling work to meet production requirements, training and development of employees and managing productivity and work quality. Recommends equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, and process or product modifications. Responsibilities may extend to overall facilities security and maintenance as needed or required.
Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks
- Promotes continuous improvement through Harmonized Manufacturing practices.
- Reads and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production appropriate requirements.
- Works towards Corporate goals of on-time delivery, productivity and quality and embraces customer satisfaction and promotes to employees.
- Plans and establishes work schedules of employees to meet production goals.
- Works with Shift Supervisor or appropriate management to resolve employee issues and complaints.
- Responsible for employee reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Diligently monitors budget to ensure department spending does not surpass monthly budget.
- Responsible for Inventory / Material Control.
- Leads by example and promotes cultural expectations related to Harmonized
- Manufacturing and all company policies.
- Resource for multiple shifts within department.
- May be responsible for Supervisor I responsibilities as needed or required.
- All other duties as assigned.
