Position: Office Triage LPN

Pay: $24-$27 an hour

This is great work opportunity for experienced nurses! The Office Triage LPN is responsible for providing triage, addressing requests and care needs by telephone. The Office Triage LPN plans, organizes, and directs care through nursing triage to meet the needs of residents, staff and families, taking calls and varies office setting tasks. Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively across teams to provide the most efficient patient care possible
• Triage phone calls from patients, family members, and community care staff
• Relay information to other administrative or provider staff for necessary follow-up
• Review and approve standing orders, and process new provider orders
• Prepare charts, reconcile medications, and update electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Respond to phone calls, faxes, and other office correspondence

Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN in the state of Minnesota
• Solid working knowledge of medical terminology and geriatric-focused primary care practices
• Strong computer and typing skills are necessary to navigate electronic medical record systems and documentation
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC), Eldermark, and G Suite (Google Apps) is ideal, since you'll work with them all
• Experience in a geriatric care setting is ideal
• Proven attention to detail in your work is a must
