Job Overview
Twin City Hardware is currently looking for an Assistant Project Managerto work closely with our Commercial Sales Staff to provide our customers with quality service, product knowledge, and a superior customer experience. Essential Job Functions
- Print plans as requested by sales staff
- Track orders for current jobs and supply customer with shipping dates and shipping method
- Order small/basic projects based on plan specifications (incl. metal or wood doors, frames, & hardware)
- Send warranty letters to customers
- Calculate job totals and assist with final billing
- Scan and save job files for future reference
- Process factory quote requests
- Quote small/basic projects based on plan specifications (incl. metal or wood doors, frames & hardware)
- Quote toilet partition projects
- Assist with phone call overflow for Commercial Sales dept
- Assist with job site field measurements
- Perform on-line research for special material needed
- Cover for sales staff while out of the office
- Attend internal and external training to increase product knowledge of the door and hardware industry
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Requirements
- Ability to learn, understand, and utilize MBC , cERP and EPWS softwares
- Working knowledge of blueprint reading
- Clear and effective communication skills to ensure great customer service
- Basic knowledge of industry terminology and nomenclature
- Self-disciplined individual who can support multiple projects with varying deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Windows/ Google based programs
Working Conditions
Office environment involving extended periods of computer work; workstations allow standing or sitting.
